It does show that there is a positive correlation between maternal mortality ratio and adolescent birth rate. Countries in Europe have the lowest maternal mortality ratio and adolescent birth rate. There are huge differences in the levels of maternal mortality ratio and adolescent birth rate among countries in Africa: while many countries center at the right corner--refering to high numbers of maternal mortality ratio and high levels of adolescent birth rate, but there are outliers with much lower numbers and levels. There are significant differences among countries in the world.
